Pale oil and steel drum in an editorial composition

COMAGAL markets base oils and filtered used oils. These are different product families. Your intended use and required characteristics determine which enquiry to make; a photograph or colour cannot establish suitability.

    What the ADEME study contributes

The French study linked below explains that used-oil characteristics influence regenerated-oil properties and possible applications. It discusses viscosity and sulphur among other factors. This is an external industrial study, not an analysis of COMAGAL batches.

    Distinguish the product families

A base oil used in formulation, a filtered used oil and a finished lubricant are not interchangeable terms. Filtration alone does not demonstrate the properties of a regenerated base oil. A base oil should not automatically be treated as a finished, ready-to-use lubricant either.

Ask for information tied to the application

Identify the product designation on the offer and the data your technical team needs. Compare the available characteristics with the specifications used by your business rather than relying on a general description.

    Consult COMAGAL

Send the application, product family, quantity and delivery city. Request the relevant product characteristics so your team can assess them. Our aim is to build a precise supply discussion around your actual requirements. The ADEME source is provided for further reading and does not confer any approval on COMAGAL products.
